Funding can be derived from different bodies and organizations through the appropriate application. But on the contrary, many organizations have a different perspective concerning research funding. Instead of finding a government grant or funding from other organizations, others consider contracting the research process which seems to many as the appropriate method of conducting an adequate research.As a Clinical Research Associate, who is responsible for carrying out clinical trials, I would suggest to my organization to choose research contract from a pharmaceutical company in developing the test product to be used in the clinic over the federal grants (Brody, 1993). This is because the contract will be more efficient and essential as compared to the federal grants in the following ways: * Research contract from a pharmaceutical industry will be more effective since the company contracted to conduct the trials is more experienced and has been in the field for some time as well as it has their experts in the field. Therefore performing the research will be more efficient as compared to my organization conducting the research. The expertise of the contract company will add more value regarding the research. * When we choose the research contract, it will be more effective because there will be a high level of responsibility in conducting the research as well as the production of effective results. This is because they company contracted work with a time limit.
